OJIPRO LLC was started by two guys who grew up in a country with no cable TV, and where most public channels were too poor to buy cartoon for syndication and had to resort to Japanese animation to fill out their morning slots - it was cheaper to do so. 

Little did they know that the decision to beam ANIME into the living rooms of millions of children across said country would create a whole generation of otakus. When cable TV, then the internet, then web streaming arrived, it was too late. The kids raised on things such as SAINT SEIYA or SPEEDRACER had evangelized first their younger siblings, then their nieces and nephews and finally, as they aged, their own kids.
